When entrusted with the extensive remodeling of a property that has been a family treasure for generations, there comes a profound responsibility to deliver a truly magnificent design, especially considering it will be a residence for the extended family. The existing bungalow, situated on a corner plot, was in good condition overall and boasted generously sized rooms. To better suit the owners' needs, we undertook a significant transformation by removing the roof and adding a first floor.

This strategic move allowed us to incorporate three bedrooms, one featuring ensuite facilities, along with a spacious family bathroom. The entire upper level is adorned with vaulted ceilings, accessed through a double-height entrance lobby. On the ground floor, a double bedroom with ensuite is strategically positioned, providing access to a cozy snug and an additional fully equipped bathroom.

Stepping through the open archway from the lobby, you enter an open-plan kitchen-dining area that seamlessly flows into the family living room. This living space offers direct access to a private rear garden, enhancing the overall livability of the home. We are delighted with how the new house harmoniously integrates into its surroundings and the expanded living spaces it now provides for the entire family.
