Located amidst similar bungalows in a serene location within this seaside town, where the expanse of the sea dominates the scenery, this particular bungalow beckoned for a transformation. Appreciating our body of work, the new owners reached out to us, expressing their desire for a significant overhaul to align with their vision.

From the outset, their enthusiasm and dedication to the project was exciting. Although enamoured with the location, they found the existing layout wascompromised and didn’t suit their modern living requirements. We undertook a comprehensive redesign of the interior, preserving only a few bedrooms.

Upon entering the revamped lobby, an immediate sense of brightness pervades the space. There are now uninterrupted views straight through to the rear garden. The home boasts a natural flow, starting with an open-plan study that cleverly conceals a utility space. This seamlessly leads to a captivating open-plan kitchen, dining, and living room with floor-to-ceiling windows and doors opening onto the rear terrace. Pocket doors then reveal the new sitting room, enhanced by large sliding doors.

A private bedroom wing is strategically situated away from the main living area, providing a trio of double bedrooms, with the principal featuring an ensuite bathroom. The external finish boasts a harmonious blend of mellow materials, complementing the interior layout and transforming the home into a focal point of the street.
