Complete - Cottage Redevelopment

When we were approached to carry out the design for this project we were very pleased with how eager the client was to rescue and revitalise this original cottage situated near the centre of the market town of Wimborne in Dorset.
We proposed to add a rear extension which would re-home the kitchen to free up space in the core of the property. The first floor layout was completely updated to allow for two bedrooms and a reformatted family bathroom.
Traditional features of the cottage, such as the timber sash windows were retained and revitalised.
Finally an office was located to the rear of the walled garden which would be home to the beginning of a fantastic sports business.
The whole property was completely renovated, modernised and given a new lease of life.
A very interesting project that shows what can be done on an extremely tight site.
