Just a stone's throw from the sea and conveniently close to the bustling town, this home is perfectly positioned to enjoy the best of both worlds. While preserving the original look of the home from the roadside, the owner aspired to introduce an exquisite addition at the rear, destined to become the heart of the house and a social hub for both family and visitors.

Given the freedom to design, we created a modern, flat roof design that seamlessly integrated with the original house. The extensive use of glass promotes a Californian living arrangement, blurring the boundaries between inside and outside living throughout the year.

The introduction of this new open-plan living arrangement significantly enhanced the flow of the interior. A carefully curated palette of complementary materials was recommended to create a warm and inviting atmosphere, continuing the theme of California beach houses.
