Positioned in an excellent location just a short distance from the heart of Ferndown, No. 1 Dudsbury Road stands as a sizable private residence that once served as a prominent landmark along New Road. Situated directly across from the recently established Tesla Garage, it occupies a key position at the intersection of these two roads, providing convenient access to local towns and beyond.
While the house has experienced a decline in recent years, requiring extensive renovation to meet contemporary living standards, it boasts ample off-road parking and an expansive garden adjacent to Dudsbury Road. Recognizing the untapped potential of the site, the Developer envisioned a unique opportunity to replace the current dwelling with a modern block of apartments, aligning with the prevalent trend of similar structures in the immediate vicinity.
Having successfully undertaken design projects for the Developer in the past, we were excited to be entrusted with this endeavor. Our goal was to craft a discreet yet contemporary apartment building that would offer a warm welcome to both residents and visitors, all while ensuring a high degree of privacy for neighboring properties.
The completed project comprises six apartments spanning two levels, with an opulent penthouse gracing the third floor. A centrally located lift facilitates access to all floors through a vaulted lobby adorned with an interior planted wall. The penthouse can potentially be divided to create an additional apartment, offering flexibility for future development.
Outside, the communal gardens provide a serene and inviting space for occupants to enjoy during the warmer months, complemented by ample parking and dedicated cycle storage for everyone's convenience.
This marks a significant achievement in delivering new luxury homes to Ferndown, and we eagerly anticipate the imminent commencement of construction on site.
